Easy Naan French Toast Made with Egg Beaters

This Mini Naan French Toast is one of our favorite breakfast recipes. I love naan bread and this is no exception. If you have never had Naan French Toast, you are missing out! It is seriously delicious! I don’t usually make breakfast during the week, so this is a staple in our house on Saturday or Sunday mornings. French toast, fresh fruit, bacon, and coffee. I can’t think of a better way to start the day!

How to Make Mini Naan Bread French Toast

This Overnight Mini Naan French Toast is super easy to make. Whisk together the egg beaters, low-fat milk, and vanilla. Place the mini naan bread in two ziplock bags and pour the egg mixture over the naan. Let hang out in the refrigerator overnight and then grill in the morning.

It is important to have the naan bread in a single layer in the egg mixture. The naan will stick together if they are stacked on top of each other. I use gallon ziplock bags and it works great.

If you don’t have all night to let the naan sit in the egg mixture, just let it sit as long as possible. I would say at least an hour. You want the naan to soak up the egg mixture and get soft before grilling.

If you don’t want to use egg substitute, you can substitute 4 eggs for the egg beaters. I personally like using egg beaters. It is easy and saves calories! This Naan French Toast is SO good –  no one would ever know it was made with Egg Beaters!

What to Serve with Mini Naan Bread French Toast

This Overnight Naan French Toast is a favorite in our house. It is easy enough for a weekday breakfast or a weekend brunch. Top the french toast with maple syrup or sugar-free syrup. ingredients:

  • 1 cup egg beaters
  • 1 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (4-count) packages mini naan bread

instructions:

  1. Mix egg beater, milk, and vanilla. Place naan bread in a single layer. Pour egg mixture over naan bread. Let soak for at least 8 hours.
  2. Heat greased nonstick skillet over medium heat. When hot, cook naan bread until browned, about 3 minutes. Turn, brown the other side, about 3 minutes more.

NOTES:

I used two gallon ziplock bags to soak the naan bread. 
If you don't have 8 hours to let the naan bread soak, soak for as long as possible.
