What’s in a name, anyways?
If you’re Kim Kardashian West and her family, the answer is a LOT of thought, apparently!
After Kendall Jenner‘s recent interview with Jimmy Fallon that centered around how Psalm West got her name, Kim has decided to set the record straight — you know, so we can all be sure we know exactly WHY and HOW Kimye’s four kids came to be named, after all!
As you might recall from earlier this week, Kendall went on The Tonight Show and dished on how her KUWTK co-star invited her over to talk about baby names on the occasion of Psalm’s birth. Kenny revealed that her big sis didn’t end up going with any of the names Kendall liked, instead picking her own name, during an exchange about the whole ordeal with Jimmy (below):
But during a Friday morning interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan, KKW decided to tell hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest about what really went down, as if to call out the super model!
Kim explained (below):
“[We would] practice trying to see what name we liked the best. Kylie and I really vibed on the name [Psalm]. So, I think Kendall was more mad that her choice wasn’t first and she was hating on Fallon. She loves the name.”
Nice!!! That’s definitely one way to get it done… always gotta vibe hard on the name!
Kim also opened up about how she chose North West‘s name, as well (below):
“When North was born, I know that North West is a very unique name. Well, all my kids’ names are very unique, but I didn’t name her for maybe three or four days. I looked at her and I said a prayer with her. I was like, ‘I pray to God you can handle your name. I hope you are this name that I’m choosing.’ I mean, it was really emotional for me … You can’t go higher than North. She’s so her name. There would be no other name for my baby but North.”
You really do become your name, after all — so maybe it’s good that Kim and Kanye’s kids have such unique ones, right?!
What do U think, Perezcious readers?! What’s in a name here, after all?? Sound OFF about all the names you can handle and more in the comment section (below)!!!
